Here is a list of organizations with whom I am affiliated in some way, have been personally helped by, donate to, or who's work I just plain believe in! There are a lot of great resources for the spiritual journey to be found in the work of these people and organizations. There are also many opportunities for spiritual growth through service available in the groups listed here:
Spirituality and Practice ~
http://www.spiritualityandpractice.com/
This is a new website showcasing the work of my dear friends Fred and Mary Ann Brussat, authors of Spiritual Literacy and Spiritual Rx. The site offers guidance on spiritual practices; reviews of the latest resources for people on spiritual journeys; inspiration and insights from leading teachers, researchers, and practitioners; and a forum for the active exchange of ideas among various disciplines and communities. A dynamite site full of great information and resources!
Women's Image Institute ~
http://www.womensimageinstitute.com/
This website showcases the work of a phenomenal woman, Nicole Mertes, who helps women step more fully into their authentic, fabulous essential selves! Nicole's workshops and offerings go far beyond a surface level approach to improving your image. She is extremely skilled at helping you dig deeply inside yourself, find out who you are in all your glorious complexity and express that through your physical appearance. Taking her workshop was one of the most transformative experiences of my life! The concepts I learned there, and the inner discovery process that I went through have continued to unfold in my life. I can't recommend her work highly enough! It will change your life!!
Real Speaking: Truth Well Spoken ~
http://www.realspeaking.net/
THis website showcases the work of Gail Larsen, who is a magnificent speaking coach and 'voice liberator.' Gail's Real Speaking program offers a powerful opportunity for you to find your 'home zone' from where you can powerfully and effectively share your core message. From Gail's website: When you have something important to communicate, your delivery is powerful only when you find what is real and heartfelt to you. Then your words are backed by purpose and passion. You create a connection with others when they don't just listen - they hear what you're saying. That is real speaking.
Dr. Paul Epstein ~
http://www.drpaulepstein.com/
This website belongs to my friend Paul Epstein. He is a very skilled naturopathic physician and healing coach. Paul has helped countless patients find deep 'healing' within themselves, by guiding them skillfully through their healing journeys. Sitting with the pain, listening to what it has to offer us, is at the core of his approach to the healing journey.
Christian Peacemaker Teams ~
http://www.cpt.org/
Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) arose from a call in 1984 for Christians to devote the same discipline and self-sacrifice to nonviolent peacemaking that armies devote to war. Enlisting the whole church in an organized, nonviolent alternative to war, today CPT places violence-reduction teams in crisis situations and militarized areas around the world at the invitation of local peace and human rights workers. CPT embraces the vision of unarmed intervention waged by committed peacemakers ready to risk injury and death in bold attempts to transform lethal conflict through the nonviolent power of God’s truth and love. Initiated by Mennonites, Brethren and Quakers with broad ecumenical participation, CPT’s ministry of Biblically-based and spiritually-centered peacemaking emphasizes creative public witness, nonviolent direct action and protection of human rights.

We raise awareness of systemic discrimination and the effects of globalization by creating sustainable civil and agricultural infrastructure. Initiatives strive to promote fair allocation of resources across the ethnic divide. BUSTAN works toward fostering self-reliance by helping people help themselves.
